February: The sight of fresh new leaves on my indoor plant finally brought some relief and a smile to my face. But at the same time I felt heavy hearted when I saw the few remaining old leaves that were about to die and fall off….
July: Indoors, the new leaves that came out turned out not so healthy to contribute to the overall health of the plant. This summer I placed the plant outside in my patio so nature could take it’s own course. I had completely forgotten about it and assumed it may die in the excess heat and rain, as it was an indoor plant. To my surprise, with a different surrounding and environment, the old weary plant has rejuvenated into a healthy plant with bright green foliage. I hope to maintain it’s health through the rest of the year and beyond.
