Remembering with Flowers

Gorgeous Portulaca

I believe that flowers have their own special language. Today, on my mother’s special day, I have tried to capture her memories in the beautiful flowers she grew in her garden. As I go over some old photos of flowers she sent me, I find they all have something to convey taking me back in time. I celebrate this day by sharing those photos as a reminder of our favorite memories together.

Your memories take me back to my childhood:

the fiery Ball Lilly and days bursting with happiness, energy, purity and love

One of her unique flower arrangements at home that everyone used to cherish

the Nasturtiums symbolizing your passion, strength and courage

A Nice Arrangement of Nasturtiums and Impatiens

But memories of the pink Dahlia blooming in the terrace garden flood my eyes with tears as I remember your kindness, elegance and fight

Winter Bloom: Light Pink Dahlia

and everything that I have lost……
